21. What should I look for in a pressure washer?

a. A good quality pump head...
Every Kranzle has a special forged brass pump head.
b. Decent water flow / output...
For best results at least 10 litres per minute flow.
c. 7 Litres per minute still offers plenty of cleaning power for most tasks, it does not feel as powerful, however, there is the added benefit of less water consumption.
d. Good quality plungers / pistons...

e. Good quality seals and leak protection...
Kranzle machines are built with a drainage chamber between the water seals and oil seals, this ensures no possibility of mixing oil and water guaranteeing no contamination.

Buying form your local DIY store and paying less than £550.00 you will end up with a sub standard machine, no replacement parts and no repair option. We see weekly two year old sub £550 machines booked in to our workshop broken and uneconomical to repair (and often the customer has purchased the same machines multiple times in less than five years).
Every Kranzle machine has a unique serial number, this is only issued once the machine has been factory tested. Kranzle pumps have a 10 year anti corrosion guarantee on the valve casing. The Kranzle working parts are made from stainless steel and brass, and these should never wear out... just need service items replacing every two or three thousand hours of use. This compares to sub £550.00 pressure washers that are expected to last less than 50 hours.

22. What is the difference between a Kranzle TS and Kranzle TST?

A Kranzle TS models are equipped with a pressure switch that shuts the motor down when the trigger gun is not being squeezed. The TS is a great system when a pressure washer is turned on for long periods of time and being used sporadically through the day. The TST system is the same as the TS models with the addition of a Hose Reel.

23. Should I buy a cheap machine?

A cheap machine under £550 has an expected life of 30 to 50 hours of use, costing £2-3 per hour of use.

If you spend upwards of £600.00 on a well built machine with a quality pump head and pistons you can expect the machine to run for 3000 to 6000 hours or even 9000 hours, this machine will cost as little as 10p to 20p per hour. A Great Investment.

24. Should I buy a Hot or Cold machine?

A hot water pressure washer is only necessary for heavy transport, engine cleaning etc, they are great at dealing with grease, oil and animal fats. The combination of high pressure, hot water and detergents will cut though just about anything.

If you a re cleaning around your home, cars, vans, even tractors, stone work, etc then a cod water high pressure cleaner is fine.

26. What is the quality of a Kranzle hose, fittings and connections does it have?

All connections of the high pressure hose, trigger gun, detachable lances and accessories are either brass or stainless steel. The fittings are 3/4" threaded water fittings. No tools are required to undo the hoses, trigger gun or to change the lance.
